GET YOUR BOOTY TO CHURCH

So ya story time.  Yesterday we went to go pick up our investigators before church and ya i dunno i guess i wasnt feeling all that well.  But we were sitting in their house talking to the husband while his kids and wife were still getting ready and then all the sudden i felt real bad.  I ran out of the house and just threw up everywhere in the street.  It was nasty and everyone was watching haha.  But ya so now i had a bunch of throw up all over the bottom of my pants and shoes which was gross.  But they brought me some toilet paper we wiped it off and went to church.  twas a good morning.  Anyways attached are two photos: one of the whole lot where we live.
Our house is the little casa in the back but we eat in the big house to the right.  The other is the inside of our house.  Thats one room and then we have another room too same size.  Its awesome.
Yesterday we had an Obra de Rescate or Blitz where all the missionaries go out with different members of the ward to rescue all the less actives.  I went out with one of our conversos recientes (recent converts) and the bishops son.  Our converso reciente was baptized in december, really shy, and ya doesnt talk.  And the Bishops kid is 13 years old.  So ya i was kinda on my own. and i was just praying my guts out the Lord would help me with language at this time. But it was super cool.  The gift of tongues was with me man.  It was so awesome the conversation and lesson we had with this man Rusbel.  Dad i used your lesson from Cabo at the end of matthew 11.  My yoke is easy and my burden light.  I told him we were gonna read and i was gonna pause him every time i wanted to talk.  Haha he was totally laughing when i paused him after the first word: Venid. "hermano Rusbel que typo de palabra es la palabra venid?"  And ya from there on the Spirit came and he understood that to come unto Christ requires action on our part.  Come=Venid is an action word!  And he needed to get his booty to church!  Haha well see though hopefully he will come next week.
Anyways hope all is well at home keep me posted on all the good stuff! Love you guys

THE BEST WAY YOU CAN SPEND YOUR TIME

So ya cambios were last week and im staying here in Primavera Pucallpa but i have a new companion.  His names Elder Quintana and hes from Bolivia La Paz.  Hes a really good Elder.  A lot is changing from the way i worked with Elder Roque but its all for the better.  He really wants to learn english so our language studies are actually really effective.  The language is coming along.  Its hard i feel like im in a phase where people think i know the languange because i can speak well enough and think im just dumb when i cant explain things exactly right. haha but ya teaching with Elder Quintana is going very well.  Hes really good at simplifying the gospel so everyone can understand.  Im learning a lot from him.
Ever since i was throwing up all last week ive lost my appetite which stinks!  i seriously loved the food so much when i first got here and was eating so much but now i can hardly eat.  ughhh hopefully my appetite will come back.  Last night a cita (appointment) with one of our investigators who is progressing very well fell through and we were super bumbed.  We had a plan B with this 75 year old member named hermano vento.  We told him the day before we might pass by and maybe he could introduce us to some of his neighbors.  We thought for sure he would have forgot about this but much to our surprise Vento was waiting for us.  Shirt Tie Boots Flashlight and ready to go.  And it was raining.  He took us to this house on stilts that was litteraly in a lake.  My boots go up to my knees and still water got on.  Haha and right along side me was 4 foot 6 Hermano Vento trucking through the sludge.  He introduced us to a very humble family and they were very receptive of everythimg.  After on the way home Vento slipped in the mud and roled.  I was so scared but much to my suprise again he was just laughing loving his time out with the missionaries.  Im so greatful for the members of the church who understand its through them we can hasten the work of the Lord.  I encourage all of you to look for ways to help the Elders in your ward and go out and visit with them. Lessons where members bear testimony are the lessons that change investigators lives.  We have been promised by elder Evans who heads the department of missionary work in the church that the friends family and neighbors of Member, recent converts, less actives, and investigators are the people prepared to hear the gospel.  Im so greatful for missionary work.  I know its the Lords work on Earth.  Find ways to serve and share the gospel. Its the best way you can spend your time. Much Love
